Euroswitch presents its new ESL level/temperature sensor with 4-20 mA signal output.
Specifically designed to monitor the level of a fluid, it comes with two settable PNP or NPN thresholds, for either level or temperature. It can be customized with different materials, depending on the intended use, such as AISI 316L stainless steel (normally used in the food industry or for monitoring aggressive fluids), brass or aluminium (for use with such fluids as oils and fuels). It is powered by an M12x1 connector and, on request, it can be supplied with a fixing flange and in lengths up to 2 metres.
ESL is a complement to advanced diagnostics with latest-generation industrial fieldbus systems, completely in line with Industry 4.0 philosophy. The sensor-machine communication system can dialogue via Modbus, Io-link or Isobus, codes, where the latter is specific for use in the agricultural sector.
