In modern industrial, hydraulic and pneumatic applications, pressure monitoring and control are essential functions for system management, automation and diagnostics.
Pressure switches, vacuum switches and pressure transducers convert pressure variations into electrical signals used for machine cycle control, operating condition monitoring, alarm management and system protection.

In electromechanical pressure switches, the operating principle is based on the action of fluid pressure on a sensitive element, either a diaphragm or a piston, opposed by the force exerted by a calibrated spring. When the preset switching pressure is reached, the electrical contact opens, closes or changes state.
In Normally Open (N.O.) versions, the contact remains open when no pressure is applied and closes once the switching threshold is reached.
In Normally Closed (N.C.) versions, the contact remains closed until the preset pressure is reached, at which point the electrical signal is interrupted.
SPDT versions allow the actuation of a microswitch, enabling the N.O. and N.C. contacts to be used individually or simultaneously, providing greater application flexibility.
Euroswitch pressure sensors are available with fixed or adjustable set points and can also be developed in custom-oriented configurations tailored to specific customer requirements.
