ELECTROMECHANICAL LEVEL SENSORS

Electromechanical level sensors are designed to detect level thresholds in non-conductive liquids by means of a float-operated mechanical contact system. Thanks to their simple design, high reliability and cost-effectiveness, they represent a widely adopted solution for level indication and reserve level applications in tanks used in the automotive, industrial and mobile sectors.
The operating principle is based on the movement of a float which, upon reaching the switching level, actuates a system of mechanical electrical contacts, generating the switching signal required by the application.

To enhance system functionality, versions with integrated Check Control electronics are also available. These are designed to verify the correct operation of the warning light during start-up and to introduce a signal delay that compensates for level fluctuations caused by vibrations, acceleration or vehicle movement, preventing unwanted switching.

This technology is particularly suitable for reserve level indication in small tanks containing fuels, oils and other non-conductive liquids, where robustness, ease of installation and long-term reliability are essential.
