LEVEL TRANSMITTERS

Level transmitters are designed to provide continuous measurement of the liquid level inside tanks and storage systems by converting the float position into a standardized analog signal. Thanks to the 4–20 mA output, they ensure simple and reliable integration with PLCs, electronic control units, displays and remote monitoring systems.

The operating principle is based on a series of reed switches arranged along the sensor stem at predefined intervals. The magnet integrated into the float progressively actuates the reed switches as the liquid level changes, generating a resistance value proportional to the detected position.

The integrated electronics convert this information into a 4–20 mA analog output, ensuring stable and accurate transmission of the measured level. This solution combines the reliability of reed switch technology with the advantages of the industrial 4–20 mA standard, widely appreciated for its high immunity to electrical noise and its ability to transmit signals over long distances without performance degradation.
